CNC turning

CNC turning plays a major role in our company’s custom manufacturing. In our hall equipped with premium machining centers, machines such as MAZAK QTN 200 MSY, MAZAK QTS 200M, MAZAK QTS 100S or OKUMA GENOS L-2000e are used for turning tasks.

With multi-axis CNC machining centers, we can perform a wide range of operations, work phases and machining methods with the highest precision on both CNC turning machines and CNC milling machines, increasing productivity.

As opposed to milling, in the case of CNC turning it is the work piece that moves, and not the tool.

CNC turning machines can machine materials such as steel, stainless steel, plastic, copper or aluminum.

A CNC turning machine bears very little resemblance to its predecessors, because machining takes place in a closed chamber, and needs no mechanical adjustment levers since everything is done electrically, under digital control. Modern CNC turning machines with a single-axis design are still mainly used to produce rotationally symmetric bodies or to cut material on a rotating work piece using single-edge knives.
